I know what you mean! I watch TV on the internet & subscribe to netflix, and I choose movies-- even at home-- maybe 1% of the time. The only reason I even saw any in the theatre this summer is because I got invited to the local $1.50 theatre a couple of times. The last movie I saw was probably "The Ten," which was SO awful that I felt like crying at the end.

You would think that during the Oscar run movies would be better. I do want to see; American Gangster and the Jane Austen Book Club but that is about it. The thing that has made me want to avail going to the movies is the cost. By the time you spend $9.50 a ticket, $17 on popcorn, sodas, and Red Vines, you are invested in this movie almost $30. It better be good. But then its not or its mediocre. And you walk away thinking how you could have waited for it to come to On Demand and rented it for $3.99 while in your jammies and you also don't have to hear some spoiled kid whining or some selfish saline Barbie on her iphone.
