[...] What does this say? It says, at the very least, that Clinton is much friendlier with most industries than Obama is. Considering that most corruption in American government takes place in the dealings between businesses and politicians, these numbers further my distrust of Clinton considerably. They are, after all, on top of her voting us into Iraq and voting for the Patriot Act twice. [...]

Also noteworthy that Hillary recently voted to give George Bush the power to deal with the Republican Guard in Iran as a terrorit group. Now, knowing what we know about GB, isn't this basically giving him the power to use military force against them? I *might* be able to excuse Hillary for her vote for the Iraq war since she is a senator for New York, and this is where the 9/11 attacks occurred. Maybe her constituents were really calling for blood. But this second vote about Iran is just bad judgment. (Unless she's voting for the conglomeration of power in the executive branch because she's hoping that power will be in her hands come January 2009. But still, I'd like a president who thinks checks and balances are important). Either way, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Tonya! Welcome to my blog. Good points, but you would have joined the military regardless of whether we went into Iraq, so it would still be paying your bills whether or not there was a war.

But I agree about the crying and Hillary. I don't want my president crying!

Kyle's reaction to this: hahahaha my little cousin has become a flag waving right-winger. ;)

consider this: you and kyle know i have in the AF for almost 5 years. (by the way, i'm 22 now and yes, you are getting older.) i have met my husband thru the military and also had my childbirth paid for by being in the military. if it hadn't been for bush being in office, i would not be able to pay my bills right now. yes, he led the charge into war, but he also gave the military a big enough pay raise that, for once, you don't have to go into debt to buy groceries. besides, if we are to present a powerful, strong image to the world, do we really need the "future president" breaking down and crying in front of the country because she couldn't take the pressure of campaigning?
