My teen son will go catatonic in front of anything--and I do mean ANYTHING. I like what you said here: "you have to get up and take it off before watching TV, which means you also have to consciously think about whether or not to watch." Right on, sista. I didn't know anybody else did this; I thought I was weird. :) I actually saw a pattern on Martha Stewart's website for a 'TV Cozy'. She just has a way of presenting things in such an un-fun way.
